Escape to Arenal
3 Days / 2 Nights
The Arenal Volcano is located in the Northern Flatlands of Costa Rica's and is without a doubt one of the main attractions of the area. The majestic Arenal Volcano with its almost perfect conical shape stands out in the undulating landscape and can be admired from far away. Arenal's last main eruption was in 1969. This doesn’t mean this volcano is dormant… it’s quite far from that. It constantly rumbles and throws out clouds of ashes; you may also observe from time to time a spectacular display of flowing red-hot lava and incandescent rocks flying through the air. There are plenty of activities which can be practiced in the area, like bathing in the hot springs, canopy tours, hiking through the rainforest, visiting the Arenal Volcano National Park, white water rafting, horseback riding, hanging bridges and boat tours to Wildlife Refuges.
